VELOUS didn't set out to create just another comfortable sandal. The goal was to create recovery footwear that worked with the natural movement of the foot.
Throughout the development process, VELOUS worked closely with both athletes and medical professionals to refine and validate the Tri-Motion™ concept.
Among those involved was Dr. Timothy Mineo, DPM, a podiatrist, foot and ankle surgeon, and competitive cyclist. Drawing on both his medical expertise and athletic experience, Dr. Mineo evaluated early prototypes and provided valuable insights that helped shape the final Tri-Motion™ Technology found in VELOUS footwear today.
